How do free minutes work?

Watch one rewarded ad and 10 minutes are added to your balance. Connecting charges nothing upfront - when you disconnect, you are billed only the minutes you actually used, rounded up to the next whole minute. Unused minutes stay in your balance for next time.

Do I need an account?

No. The app creates an anonymous device account the first time it runs, so you can connect without signing up for anything. Adding an email or Google sign-in is optional - it simply keeps your minutes, VIP progress, and referral rewards safe if you switch or reset your phone.

Is my traffic private?

Traffic between your device and the VPN server is encrypted with WireGuard, using modern ChaCha20-Poly1305 cryptography, and the app talks to our API over TLS. Being straight about data: the minutes system needs session records (start, end, server, duration) and per-session bandwidth totals to work, so we keep those. The Privacy Policy spells out exactly what is and is not stored.

We distribute the APK directly from our own servers. You get every new build the moment it ships, and the in-app updater verifies each download against its sha256 checksum before installing - so what you install is byte-for-byte what we published.

Android shows a warning whenever you install an app from outside Google Play - that is a standard prompt for any direct APK, not a judgement about this app. You allow installs from your browser or file manager once. Every Tech VPN build is published with its sha256 checksum, and the in-app updater re-verifies that checksum before any update installs.

Servers in the app carry streaming tags showing which services are commonly reachable through each region, so you can pick accordingly. Streaming platforms change their detection constantly, though, so we cannot guarantee any specific service will work at any given moment.

Yes - per-app split tunneling is built in. Choose exactly which apps bypass the VPN (your banking app, for example) while everything else stays inside the tunnel. It works on every tier, including Free.
